This billionaire says trickle-down gets things all wrong. It is not the wealthy elite that expands the economy, it is a middle class paid living wages who spend those wages that expands the economy.

He alludes to Henry Ford's insight that if he paid his autoworkers a fair, middle class wage, they could all afford to buy his cards. And buying cars grew the economy.

This billionaire also says that if the billionaires don't let loose their chokehold on our economic life, the pitchforks will come. He says the very wealthy won't know they are coming, it will happen suddenly.

The pitchforks will come and all will suffer, he says. He suggests that we address economic inequality before the pitchforks come.
