we have to rethink the economic realm

David Korten: The New Economic Story

I favor Rudolf Steiner's economic thinking. He said that human culture is threefold:  social, cultural and economic. Human beings are threefold:  thinking, feeling and willing. Everything in the cosmos is threefold.

His life's work was dedicated to a renewal of human culture. He spent a lot of time on the economic realm because it is so out of balance. Steiner said that the economic realm of human culture exists solely to supoprt the social and cultural realms. Greed is not a reason for the economic realm. Accumulation of wealth is not a reason for the economic realm.

The economic realm exists solely to serve humans and nature, so there should be a perfect equipoise economically, with justice and equal abundance for all.

Right?  I think so.
