A few cultures have, historically, sacrificed young female virgins to the gods as a form of worship. I never focussed on the details so I don't remember why sacrifices were believed to be needed. Maybe for a good crop season? Or water?
Here's my question. How's come it was never male virgins sacrificed for the community?
And this. If a female becomes a Muslim jihadist, committing some atrocity in the name of Allah in a suicidal effort, does the female get 72 virgin males? Or however many virgins the suicide guy jihadists are promised? Somehow, without having done any research, not even a google, I'm guessing that chick hijadists don't get virgins when they die for Allah.
